REPRESENTATIVE SCRIBNER ACHIEVES 100 PERCENT VOTING RECORD IN STATE LEGISLATURE |

Hartford—According to records released by the clerk of the House of Representatives, State Representative David Scribner (R-Brookfield, Bethel) achieved a 100 percent voting record in the General Assembly in 2007. The Legislature concluded its business for the year on December 5, after holding an ongoing special session since the regular legislative session adjourned in June.
According to the House Clerks Office summary, Rep. Scribner is one of only 14 House lawmakers to vote on all 420 bills before the House of Representatives during the 2007 legislative sessions. There are 151 members in the state House of Representatives.
“Perfect attendance has always been a personal goal,” said Rep. Scribner, who posted 100 percent attendance for the ninth consecutive year. “I feel honored and humbled to be elected to serve as the voice of people in Brookfield and Bethel in the House of Representatives and doing so involves a commitment to make as many votes as possible in the House Chamber.”
Representative Scribner serves as Ranking Member (House Republican Leader) of the Legislature’s Transportation Committee and as a member of the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee and Public Health Committee. He was elected to his fifth term in the House of Representatives in November 2006.
