Perillo and other Legislators to host veterans` medal event

Senator Dan Debicella (R-21), Representative Jason Perillo (R-113), and Representative Lawrence Miller (R-122), in cooperation with the state Department of Veterans’ Affairs, will co-host a Connecticut Veterans’ Wartime Service Medal Special Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, December 16, 2009.

            Connecticut Veterans’ Wartime Service Medals will be awarded to veterans with qualifying military service who live in Shelton. Medals recipients have applied for, and been approved, to receive this medal. Attendance at the ceremony is by invitation only, and not open to the general public.

            The media is invited to attend and cover this event.
