Klarides and United Illuminating to Host Senior Energy Forums

State Representative Themis Klarides and the United Illuminating Company are joining together to host a series of informational energy forums for seniors in the towns of Woodbridge, Orange and Derby.

The forums will focus on energy conservation, and how individuals can take steps to save energy and money under today’s rising costs.

The first forum will be in Orange, Thursday, July 17, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at the Orange Senior Center located at 535 Orange Center Road.

The second will be held in Woodbridge, Friday, July 18, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at the Woodbridge Senior Center located at 4 Meetinghouse Lane.

The third will be held in Derby, Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Derby Senior Center located at 293 Main Street.

Refreshments and other items will be provided at these events by United Illuminating.
