Klarides Obtains Security Funds for Woodbridge

HARTFORD – State Representative Themis Klarides (R-Derby) has obtained funding though the Office of Policy and Management for security at the Woodbridge Town Hall.

The grant is in the amount of $7,000 and will be used in conjunction with town funds to install security cameras and a keycard access system for the Town Hall building.  The Town will pick up approximately $2,000, with the total project estimated at $9,000.

“I am pleased to have been able to help the Town of Woodbridge obtain this grant to assist them in purchasing this needed security equipment,” said Representative Klarides.  “Tighter security for the offices and the records they house at Town Hall is critical for peace of mind of town residents.  With the state funding most of this project, local tax dollars can be put toward other resources.”
