Rep. Greene: Beacon Falls Lions Club to Host Annual Senior Picnic

Event Scheduled for Saturday, August 4, 2007

The Beacon Falls Lions Club will hold its annual senior citizens picnic Saturday, August 4, 2007 at the Beacon Falls Senior Center on Main Street from 12 to 5 p.m., state Representative Len Greene, R-105^th District and former state Representative Jack Betkoski, the cochairmen of the event, announced today. 

“Beacon Falls’ seniors serve on town boards and commissions and play an active role in local civic and service organizations,” Representative Greene said. “The Lions Club’s annual senior picnic is our way of thanking them for all they have done to help make our town a better place to live, work and raise our families.”

The event, which is open to all Beacon Falls seniors at no charge, will feature music, picnic food and beverages.
