Seniors Energy Forums, Aug. 20 |
Old Lyme and Westbrook--State Rep. Marilyn Giuliano and Connecticut Light & Power will host two informational energy forums for senior citizens and other interested residents on Wednesday, August 20. One is at the Lymes’ Senior Center, 26 Town Woods Rd., in Old Lyme at 10:45 a.m. The second is at Westbrook Senior Center, 866 Boston Post Rd., in Westbrook at 12:30 p.m.
The forums will focus on energy conservation, and steps to save energy and money with today’s high energy costs.
Attendees can receive information on energy assistance for
low-income residents, and other energy conservation programs available to all
income levels.
Connecticut Light & Power will provide refreshments and energy conservation
gifts.
