Rep. Giuliano To Hold Office Hours for Constituents in Old Lyme, Lyme |

Seeks Input from Residents as 2006 Legislative Session Nears
State Representative Marilyn Giuliano, R-23rd District, will hold office hours for constituents on Saturday, January 21st in Old Lyme and Lyme.
Representative Giuliano will conduct office hours in Old Lyme at the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library Community Room from 10 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.; and at the Lyme Public Library Children’s Room from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. No appointments are necessary.
“The 2006 legislative session, which gets underway February 8th and adjourns May 3rd, lasts for only about three-months,” Representative Giuliano said. “Because the session is a short one, we need to research and draft our legislative proposals as soon as possible if they are to have any chance of becoming law.”
“I set my legislative goals and priorities based on what I hear from the people of the 23rd District before and during the legislative session. Although many Old Lyme and Lyme residents already have contacted me about issues they hope the General Assembly will address this year, I would like to hear from as many of you as possible before the session convenes,” Representative Giuliano said. “If you have concerns you’d like to share with me about any issue of importance to our towns or our state, please feel free to drop by the Phoebe Griffin Noyes Library or the Lyme Public Library on Saturday, January 21st.”
Representative Giuliano also can be reached at her Hartford office by calling 1-800-842-1423; via e-mail at Marilyn.Giuliano@housegop.state.ct.us; by FAX at 1-860-240-0207, or at home at 395-1107.
