REP. GIEGLER POSTS PERFECT VOTING RECORD

 

Hartford—According to records released by the clerk of the House of Representatives State Rep. Janice Giegler (R-138) achieved a 100 percent voting record in the General Assembly in 2008.  According to the House Clerks Office summary, Rep. Giegler one of only 18 House lawmakers to vote on all 300 bills before the House of Representatives during the 2008 legislative sessions. There are 151 members in the state House of Representatives.

 

            “Serving my constituents is a responsibility I take seriously,” said Rep. Giegler, who also posted 100 percent attendance in 2007. “I made a commitment to work for the people of the 138th district and my attendance record shows I have been in Hartford representing their concerns and interests as promised.”  

 

Representative Giegler serves as Ranking Member (House Republican Leader) of the Legislature’s Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee. She also serves as a member of the Public Health Committee, Judiciary Committee and Internship Committee. She represents the 138th House District, which is comprised of sections of Danbury and New Fairfield.
