Rep. DelGobbo Achieves Perfect Attendance Record for 2007 Legislative Session |

Was Present and Voting for All 420 Roll Call Votes Taken on House Floor
State Representative Kevin M. DelGobbo, R-Naugatuck, has compiled a perfect record for votes cast on the floor of the state House of Representatives during the 2007 legislative session, according to statistics provided by the House Clerk’s Office.
Representative DelGobbo was present and voting for all 420 roll call votes taken on the state House floor. He was one of only 14 of Connecticut’s 151 state representatives who had perfect records for floor votes during the 2007 session, according to the House Clerk’s Office.
“One of the most basic responsibilities state legislators have to the people we represent is to vote on measures that come before the state House for our consideration,” Representative DelGobbo said. “Even proposals that appear inconsequential and harmless sometimes can have unintended consequences that adversely affect our towns.”
“When a bill comes before us for a vote, we need to be there to question proponents of the legislation about its ramifications and its possible flaws – and to vote for or against it depending on how it will impact our constituents and our districts. If we do our jobs right the first time, we can fix poorly crafted bills before they become law and not have to amend or repeal them later,” Representative DelGobbo said. “It is an awesome responsibility and one I take very seriously as Naugatuck’s advocate in the state House.”
Representative DelGobbo serves the 70th Assembly District of Naugatuck in the state House of Representatives. He is the House Ranking Member of the legislature’s Appropriations Committee, and a member of the Energy and Technology Committee and the Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee.
