Rep. DelGobbo Re-elected to Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors

State Rep. Kevin M. DelGobbo, R-70^th, Naugatuck, was re-elected to the Naugatuck Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors at its annual meeting last evening. Rep. DelGobbo also was reelected to its executive board as secretary of the corporation.

“I’m very excited to see the continued progress of this entity,” said Rep. DelGobbo.” I believe this effort represents the most important initiative that Naugatuck has undertaken in 50 years.”

The Economic Development Corporation is a public-private partnership that has been created to handle economic development projects in the borough of Naugatuck. Rep. DelGobbo is a founding member of this organization and of its initiative to develop a new vision and plan for economic development in Naugatuck.

Rep. DelGobbo serves the 70^th Assembly District of Naugatuck in the state House of Representatives. He is ranking member of the legislature’s Energy and Technology Committee, as well as member of its Finance Revenue and Bonding Committee and its Public Safety Committee.
