Rep. DelGobbo Named Italian-American Mayor for the Day

Receives Honor as Part of Naugatuck Columbus Day Celebration

State Rep. Kevin M. DelGobbo, R-70^th, Naugatuck, has been named Italian-American “Mayor for the Day” by the Ladies Auxiliary of the Christopher Columbo Society of Naugatuck during annual Columbus Day ceremonies.

The ceremonies included a flag raising at Town Hall, followed by a reception at the Christopher Colombo Hall and the naming of Rep. DelGobbo as mayor for the day.

Rep. DelGobbo, who has served as state representative since 1997, was cited for his extensive range of public and community service.
