Rep. DelGobbo Achieves 100 Percent Voting Record for Ninth Straight Year in State Legislature

Naugatuck Legislator is Only One of 151 House Members with Nine-year Perfect Record
Has Not Missed Any Votes since Taking Office in 1997

NAUGATUCK—For the ninth consecutive year, State Representative Kevin M. DelGobbo (R-70th, Naugatuck) has achieved a perfect 100 percent voting record in the state legislature.

Rep. DelGobbo has not missed a vote since first being elected to represent Naugatuck in 1996, according to statistics compiled by the clerk of the House of Representatives.

He is the only legislator in the 151-member state House of Representatives who has voted on all recorded floor votes during the legislative sessions from 1997 through 2005.

Rep. DelGobbo said, “I deeply appreciate the opportunity to serve the people of Naugatuck in the state House of Representatives.”

Rep. DelGobbo noted that voting on legislation is only a part of the duties of a state legislator. He said, “Beside voting on every bill, it is equally important to be accessible to the people of the district, to listen to their concerns and to support local activities and events. I love all aspects of the job and work as hard as I can at being an effective advocate for Naugatuck.”

State Rep. Kevin DelGobbo serves the 70th Assembly District of Naugatuck in the state House of Representatives. He is ranking member of the legislature’s Energy & Technology Committee, as well as a member of the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, the Public Safety and Homeland Security Committee and the Regulations Review Committee.
