Rep. DelGobbo To Discuss State Budget Sunday on CPTV’s “On the Record”

NAUGATUCK—State Representative Kevin M. DelGobbo (R-70th, Naugatuck) will discuss the state budget on Connecticut Public Television’s interview program,” On the Record,” to air Sunday, April 24, at 10:30 a.m. on public television stations statewide.

DelGobbo, who is a member of the legislature’s Finance Revenue and Bonding Committee, will appear as a guest with host Steve Kotchko along with Democrat legislator Denise Merrill, co-chair of the legislature’s Appropriations Committee.

In the interview taped today, Rep. DelGobbo noted the proposed Democrat budget exceeds the state constitutional spending cap by $434 million. Rep. DelGobbo has been the leading voice in the legislature for preserving the spending cap that 81 percent of statewide voters adopted as part of the state constitution.
