Rep. DelGobbo Supports Financing for Statewide Facility Improvements

 

State Rep. Kevin M. DelGobbo, R-70th, Naugatuck, voted for the state’s $1.2-billion bond authorization bill, including construction aid for local school construction projects, transpiration improvements and a variety of other projects.

“The legislation, covering the fiscal year that starts on July 1, includes a number of initiatives that I had promoted and fought for,” said Rep. DelGobbo. “Overall, this package is substantially less than in recent years, and it has been trimmed by $100 million from earlier recommendations.”

Rep. DelGobbo said some of the highlights of the bond package include:

State Rep. DelGobbo serves the 70th Assembly District of Naugatuck in the state House of Representatives. He is a member of the legislature’s Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, as well as its bonding subcommittee.
