SEN. HARTLEY AND REP. D’AMELIO TO HOLD OFFICE HOURS FOR CONSTITUENTS IN WATERBURY |

State Representative Anthony J. D’Amelio, R-71st District, and state Senator Joan V. Hartley, D-15th District, have announced plans to conduct two separate office hour sessions to give constituents in Waterbury an opportunity to meet with them to discuss a number of important issues facing lawmakers during the 2008 session of the General Assembly.
The first session will be held Monday, February 25th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Wendell Cross School library, 1255 Hamilton Avenue, Waterbury.
The second session will take place Monday, March 3rd from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kennedy High School library, 422 Highland Avenue, Waterbury.
“Although the 2008 legislative session is a short one, we will be acting on hundreds of measures that will affect both Waterbury and Middlebury residents, including the 2009 state budget, economic stimulus proposals, anti-crime legislation, and property tax relief,” Representative D’Amelio said. “Your views on issues coming before the state legislature are very important to us. They will guide our votes on major bills and help us to more effectively represent you in Hartford. We’d like to meet with as many of you as possible. Please try to set aside a few minutes to meet with us at either the Wendell Cross School or at Kennedy High School, whichever is more convenient.”
Residents also can contact Representative D’Amelio by calling his Capitol Office at 1-800-842-1423 or via e-mail at anthony.damelio@housegop.ct.gov. Letters should be mailed to Representative D’Amelio at Room 4200, Legislative Office Building, Hartford.
“In the continual process of connecting with and receiving input from the 15th District, and most in particular, directly from constituents, I’m eager to once again this year initiate my cycle of office hours,” said Senator Hartley. “I’m greatly appreciative of our constituents, who actively participate to ensure that their voice is heard in Hartford.”
Senator Hartley can be contacted by phone at 1-800-842-1420 or via e-mail at Hartley@senatedems.ct/gov . The mailing address is Legislative Office Building, Room 1800, Hartford, CT 06106-1591.
