Candelora Achieves 100% Voting Record

Freshman Legislator Makes All Roll Call Votes of 2007

HARTFORD- State Representative Vincent Candelora (R-North Branford) has earned a one hundred percent voting record for all roll call votes taken on the floor of the House of Representatives during the 2007 Regular Session and subsequent special sessions.  The House Clerk’s Office released the data on members’ votes at the close of the calendar year.

Representative Candelora, a freshman member of the House, took office in January of 2007.

“It is very important to me to try to make every vote,” said Candelora.  “I take my responsibilities as a legislator very seriously, and to me it is critical to make sure the voices of those who live in the 86th District are heard here in Hartford.”

A perfect attendance is a very difficult thing to achieve, and less than 20% of Candelora’s colleagues in the House were able to attain it this year.

The next regular session of the legislature will convene in February 2008.

Representative Candelora represents the towns of North Branford, Wallingford and East Haven.
