REPUBLICAN HOUSE LEADER CAFERO, SENATE LEADER McKINNEY ON PUBLIC RADIO

HARTFORD - House Republican Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr., of Norwalk and Senate Leader John McKinney of Fairfield will present the new face of Connecticut Republican Legislative leadership during an hour-long program, “Where We Live,’’ on WNPR - Connecticut Public Radio on Tuesday July 17 beginning at 9 a.m.

The NPR affiliates throughout Connecticut will air the popular show. Both leaders will take questions and offer their thoughts on the recently concluded legislative session, the upcoming municipal elections, as well as the future of the Republican Party going into the 2008 elections when the entire legislature will stand for election.

Cafero was chosen by his fellow Republicans to serve as Leader earlier this year. McKinney was picked this spring to lead the Republican Senate caucus.

The two will appear with host Av Harris.

“Where We Live,’’ can be heard daily on five FM stations in Connecticut: 90.5 in the greater Hartford/New Haven areas; 89.1 in the Norwich/New London area; 88.5 in Stamford/Greenwich; 91.3 in South Hampton N.Y.; and 99.5 in Storrs.
