Rep. Burns Resumes Regular Monthly Office Hours

 

December Office Hours Scheduled for Saturday, December 8th

 

State Representative Ron Burns will resume holding regular constituent office hours on the third Saturday of every month, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the A. Bartlett Giamatti Little League Center Main Office on Mix Street in Bristol. Appointments are not necessary.

However, because he will be on vacation the third Saturday in December (the 15th), Representative Burns will hold his December office hours on December 8th, the second Saturday of the month. 

In 2008, Representative Burns will resume holding regular office hours at the Giamatti Center on the third Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Instead of holding office hours in August, September and October, Representative Burns conducted door to door visits with his 77th District constituents. During that time, he suspended his regular monthly office hours.

“I greatly enjoyed the opportunity to get out and meet with many of you at your homes over the past three months,” Representative Burns said. “If you were on vacation or away from your home when I dropped by and would like to discuss a problem that can be resolved at the state level or if you just want to talk about some of the issues that will be coming before the state legislature in 2008, feel free to drop by on Saturday, December 8th at the Little League Center.”

“The upcoming legislative session will be a short one, and I want to make sure I focus on the issues that are most important to you, the residents of the 77th District. If you don’t have time to meet with me during my regular monthly office hours, please send me a letter or e-mail or give me a call and share your thoughts with me on what you’d like to see us accomplish in Hartford next year. One way or another, I’d like to hear from you,” Representative Burns said.
