Rep. Penny Bacchiochi appointed Republican leader on Planning and Development Committee

  Will also sit on Public Safety, Internship Committees

House Republican Leader Lawrence F. Cafero Jr. has announced that state Rep. Penny Bacchiochi has been appointed Republican leader (ranking member) of the Planning and Development Committee.

The committee is charged with handling regional planning and development activities, economic development programs and the state plan of conservation and development, among other issues regarding planning and development.

Rep. Bacchiochi will also serve on the Internship and Public Safety Committees.

Rep. Bacchiochi is serving her third term as the state Representative in the 52^nd District, serving Somers, Stafford and Union.
