Mike Alberts thanks voters for support

State Rep. Mike Alberts, R-50th District, thanked the voters for supporting him in his bid for reelection.

Rep. Alberts said, “It has been an honor and privilege to serve during the past four years.  I am looking forward to rolling up my sleeves, working for the people of the town for next two years.”

Alberts said the immediate priority is addressing Connecticut’s growing budget deficit and its impact on towns and families.

“I recognize the budget issues each of us facing in our communities and in our homes. I   am working on your behalf to make necessary budget adjustments, so that we can bring state finances in line without increasing taxes.”

Rep. Alberts serves the 50^th Assembly District of Brooklyn, Eastford, Pomfret, Hampton and Woodstock.
