Rep. Mike Alberts to Hold Brooklyn Town Hall Meeting May 11

Invite Residents to Discuss Issues of Concern

State Rep. Mike Alberts, R-50th, Brooklyn, Eastford, Hampton, Pomfret, Woodstock, will meet with members of the public at a Town Hall Meeting, Thursday, May 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Brooklyn Town Hall, Downstairs Conference Room, in Brooklyn, Connecticut.

Residents of Brooklyn and other towns are cordially invited. At that time, Rep. Alberts will meet with individual constituents to discuss general issues or any particular matter where they need help at the state level.

“I’m there to answer any questions and discuss any concern that may be on people’s minds,” said Rep. Alberts. “It could be a general chat or a specific concern or problem someone may be having with a state agency.”

Rep. Alberts said, “This is an opportunity for citizens to meet with me, to discuss action in the legislature, ask questions and raise issues. Clearly, jobs, taxes and the preservation of our rural quality of life are important matters to our area, but I will be happy to discuss other state-related concerns.”

Rep. Alberts serves the 50th Assembly District of Brooklyn, Eastford, Hampton, Pomfret and Woodstock in the state House of Representatives.
