State Representative Arthur J. O’Neill of Southbury was first elected to the state House of Representatives in 1988, winning a special election to represent the 69th District of Southbury, Bridgewater, Roxbury, and New Milford. Due to redistricting in 1992, Representative O’Neill now represents the towns of Southbury, Bridgewater, Roxbury, and Washington. He was most recently re-elected on November 7th, 2006... On Thursday, July 26, State Rep. Arthur O'Neill, R-69, (fourth from left) participated in a bill signing ceremony in Governor M. Jodi Rell's office. The legislation signed, Public Act 07-141, will provide homeowners additional protections against municipalities taking property through eminent domain for private development purposes.
