On Saturday, April 28, The Monroe Little League held a ceremony recognizing a $10,000 state grant secured by State Rep. DebraLee Hovey, R-Monroe. The funds will be used for the installation of batting cages at the league's Cross Hill Road facility. From left to right: League President Bruce Freedman, Rep. Hovey and League Treasurer Robert Jarnutowski.
