State Rep.Mary Ann Carson, R- New Fairfield, and New Fairfield First Selectman John Hodge testify before the Legislature's Environment Committee on  Friday, March 17 in Hartford. Carson and Hodge testified in favor of House Bill 5750, which would allow law enforcement officials to address public safety issues on Candlewood Lake and House Bill 5792, which would address issues involving the notification process when a residential well tests positive for Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).
